Institute of Business Management, GLA University Mathura is going to organize a national level talent hunt for students named as “Agrata –rejuvenating the talent”, a management fest.

Agrata 2013 is a vision; a vision envisaged to illuminate the future and enliven the past. It is an effort to search new talents, new geniuses, new intellect, and new brains. Through our management fest with the humble building blocks of innovation, creativity, determination and technique, we intend to craft entities that are record breaking in size and awe inspiring in grandeur. Interest has always been spurred by the success, we for the first time in history of Institute of business management conducting the management fest to revitalize the youth from different colleges and universities to show their talents and managerial skills. Through this fest we are implementing new methods and concepts which are going to be more efficient and productive to carve out best from an individual.

RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. Ad-Mad Show “Innowiz
There will be two rounds-
Round I
  •         All teams shall participate in round I.
  •        The team should prepare in advance advertisement of product/service of their choice depicting their creativity.
  •         Four best teams will be selected for further round on judges’ parameter.
Round II
  •     Top four teams will compete against each other.
  •     Themes will be given to the team on the spot.
  •     Team with the highest score at the end will declared winner.
  •      In case of tie first round scores will be added to final round.

2. Poster making “Kritansh
  •       The themes of poster making may include environmental sustainability, innovation, leadership, corporate social responsibility, women empowerment.
  •        Size of the chart paper should be A2.
  •        Participant are requested to bring their own drawing and decorative materials.
  •        Participant will be given 2 hours to develop their concept.
  •        No objectionable content will be allowed.

3. Management Quiz “Brainwaves
There will be two rounds.
Round I
  •       All teams should participate in this round.
  •       Among all the participants of Round I, top four teams will be selected for the second round.
  •       Specific time limits will be there for responding.
Round II
  •         The four teams will compete against each other.
  •         The team with the highest score will be declared winner.
  •          In case of tie, one tie breaker question is there and whom-so-ever first responded correctly will be declared winner.

 4. Business plan “Udaan
  •      Teams have to present their unique/creative business plan including product/service name, nature, product logo & punch line etc.
  •      The product or business idea should carry its own originality.
  •       Participants need to submit the hard copy of their B-plan at the time of presentation it should be on A4 size paper.
  •       Teams will be subjected to maximum 10-15 minutes to post their presentation.
  •       Teams need to address questions raised by competing teams and judges.
  •        Points will also allot on the way answers are given.
  •      Final judgment will be based on the hard copy of idea submitted, presentation quality as well as the quality of answers to the questions raised by judges.
  •        No abusive or objectionable content will be entertained.

5. Management Skit “Samavesh
  •        The play must be in English, Hindi and hinglish.
  •        The maximum time limit is 20-25 minutes, exceeding the time limits will result in penalty.
  •         Teams are to arrange for their own costume and props only chairs and tables will be provided.
  •          Points will be deducted for vulgarity and foul language, targeting any individual institution or religion shall not be entertained and will result in disqualification.
  •          Judges decision will be final.


6. Extempore “Twarit
There will be two rounds.
Round I
  •       Participant will be given a topic 1 minute before extempore.
  •       Topic will be provided on the spot by means of chits.
  •       Participants will have to speak for 2 minutes on the topic.
  •       Judges decisions will be full and final.
Round II
  •        Finalist will be given another topic for 2 minute to think over.
  •        After 2 minutes the participants need to act on the same to convey the topic.
  •        On the basis of performance the final winners will be selected.

7. Debate “Rubaroo
  •       The topic for debate is “strong dictatorship is better than weak democracy.”
  •       One of the team member’s acts as the proposition while other one act as opposition.
  •       10 minutes time will be given for presentation of thoughts.
  •       There should be no repetition of points.
  •       Clarity of thought and expression, raise the points.

8. Dancing Events “Fest in O beatz
For Solo Dance: (Dance themes may include classical, folk, contemporary, street dance etc.)
  •       Each individual are expected to bring their own sound tracks in portable device.
  •       Time limit for stage performance is limited to maximum 5 min, exceeding will be resulted in deduction of marks.
  •      Music system will be provided.
  •      2 min for stage settings will also be given.
  •       No vulgarity will be entertained, it will lead to disqualification.
  •      Judges decision will be final.
For Group Dance: (Dance themes may include classical, folk, contemporary, street dance etc.)
  •         Each group are expected to bring their own sound tracks in portable device.
  •         Time limit for stage performance is limited to maximum 5 min, exceeding will be resulted in deduction of marks.
  •        Music system will be provided.
  •           2 minute for stage settings will also be given.

9. Singing events “Goonj
For Group and solo singing
There will be two rounds
Round I
  •         Participants/groups have to sing according to their own choice.
  •        Participants have to bring their own tracks and karaoke in portable device.
  •       Maximum time limit given will be 5 minute.
  •         Among all 5 best will be selected.
Round II
  •       On the spot, specific songs are given according to judge’s choice.
  •       15 min preparation time will be provided.
  •        Participant having higher score will be declared as winner.
  •       Judges decision will be final.



10. Case Study Presentation “Mind Spark
  •         Case study topic will be given on the spot.
  •          Participants have to analyze and prepare a summary.
  •       They have to make a 10 min paper presentation on the basis of their analysis of case.
  •        Teams will need to address the question raised by judges and audience.
Parameters for judgment are:
  1.      Logic
  2.     Creativity.
  3.     Problem solving ability.
  4.     Coverage of business problem.
  5.     Attention to details.
  6.     Approach taken to solve the problems.
  7.     Way of demonstration.

11. Rangoli “Splash
  •          Every participants are requested to bring their own decorative and rangoli materials.
  •        The theme for rangoli may include colours of India.
  •          Participants will be provided with chalks.
  •           Use of any harmful elements leads to disqualification.
  •           No objectionable content will be entertained.
  •        High creativity raises the points.


12. Face painting “Pratibimb
  •         One participant has to paint the face of other participant (same college/same team).
  •         Participants are requested to bring their own coloring materials.
  •        Participants have to cover only face not the neck.
  •        Judges decision will be final.

13. Best out of Waste “Srujan
  •         There should be jingoism (extreme nationalism) in the theme.
  •          Participants are requested to bring their own materials.
  •        No prior fully prepared material will be entertained, if so then it leads to disqualification.
  •        High creativity raise the points.

14. Mimicry “Laughter Gulle
  •        Each student artist shall be given 5 minute for showing item.
  •        Participant may mimic speeches of well known persons, including famous personalities, jokes and mushayara etc.
  •       Vulgarity or something bad in presentation should be avoided. Only innocent satire or humor is expected.
  •       Marking will be based on :
  1.   Presentation.
  2.   Quality in variety of sound and voices imitate.
  3.   Quality of Skill imitating.

15. Kite Flying Event
  •      There will be no entry fees for the competetion.
  •       All the participant must be at venue on the day of the competetion.
  •      Each and every participant had to carry their “Maanjh/saddi” along with Latai.
  •     Contestants MUST stay within the designated Judging Area.
  •     At judging time, patrons who are not in the competition will be separated from those who are in the competition.
