Keeping these
motto in mind the Institute of
Pharmaceutical Research had organized a Teaching Development Programme
“Teachers of Tomorrow” on 4th
May,2013
This Teaching Development programme was successful in attracting the attention of many schools in
Mathura ,Agra, Aligarh and Vrindavan. Around ten schools had participated from Brij
Mandal Belt. Schools like St. Dominic’s School (Mathura), Hanumant Prasad
Dhanuka Saraswati Vidya Mandir
(Vrindavan), Parmeshwari Devi Dhanuka Saraswati
Vidya Mandir (Vrindavan), Vrindavan Vidhyapeeth, Gyan Deep Public
School, C.S.R.V.Vidhya Ashram Chaumuha, P.N.Inter College Jait, Sarvoday Inter
College Jait, Three Dots Sewa Marg, Aligarh , Sacred Heart, Mathura Maharishi
Dayanand Senior Secondary School.
This
programme had bring the think tanks together and provided them a common platform for
sharing their views on various
aspects and new trends in modern teaching.
The programme
had started with Saraswti Poojan. This moment was witnessed by Prof. A. M. Agrawal Pro-Vice Chancellor; Prof. Pradeep Mishra Director,
Institute of Pharmaceutical Research ; Prof.
Anoop Kumar Gupta Director, Institute of Applied Science & Humanitics
; Dr.B.R
Dubey Principal K.N.International School and Dr. B.N.Pandey (Principal DPS)
The programme had started with the key note address by
Dr.Anoop Kr.Gupta. (Director IAH) on , “A Teacher sage on
stage and guide by the side”. In
his address he emphasizes on fact that a teacher not only teaches a child but also he is the first person who helps him to get introduce from the
outside world . He devoted whole of his
life for his students by guiding them in various situations in life.
The first talk was given
by Prof. A.M. Agarwal (Pro Vice Chancellor) on the topic “ Methodology and Lesson Planning”. In this
talk he emphasized on the fact that
planning is necessary in executing any
important work and therefore in the
teaching lesson planning is necessary. He discussed about the modern
easy methodology which can be used in
teaching .
Prof. Somesh Dhameja (Head Management UG) had
given a talk on the topic “Innovative
Teaching Practices” in which he had explained about the methodologies which can
give a sharp edge to one’s teaching.
The programme had got it’s momentum
when Dr. Nitin Bhatnagar Head Dept. of English IAH had given the talk on
the topic, “Developing Student’s skills in Listening and Speaking” in which he
had explained about the ability of a teacher which can mould a simple student into a professional by teaching them
a professional communication skills.
In the meanwhile Mr. Vishal Goyal Associate
Professor EC ITM had shared his views on the topic “High Impact Teaching Skills” in which he
talked about the teaching skills which made the students to be in the class
by choice and not by force.
Dr.B.R Dubey Principal K.N.International
School had explained about the difficulties they were facing in every day’s
teaching and gave his valuable suggestions to eradicate it. Dr. B.N. Pandey
(Principal DPS)had also appreciate the program.
In the
end Prof. Pradeep Mishra Director IPR
had given his vote of thanks to all speakers , participating schools and all faculty members of IPR for organizing a successful event .
